First School Day for 2021 Woke up to healthy growing lettuces. No time to take data and photos in the morning, so it will have to be in the evening. COS/ROMAINE: Seeing more burn tips appearing on the romaines. Nothing much can be done for this since the rest of the lettuces are growing very well. GRAND RAPID: Growing tall. Not much new shoots seen. Will be observing this closely over the next few days. RED OAK: Growing well but the reddishness of the leaves are quickly fading away. Interestingly, the taste of Red Oak is not as earthy as butterhead. Will be one lettuce type that I am looking forward to growing more of. BUTTERHEAD: Growing well too except it's more opened-up compared to those found in the marts. Could it be due to the surrounding temperature?
