Red Oak: Butterhead: Data: (before harvest) EC1146 pH6.93 - once again, the pH crept up again, despite adding 6 drops of down yesterday. Time to adjust it downwards once again. - added 10 drops of pH down. WT29 Water Level: at MIN level again. - Topped up with another 2L with 10mL of ABC. Adjusted with 6 drops of Down.
Boxing Day Wondergreens Greens are growing great and with the state of the GR, I am thinking of thinning them out tomorrow. Get the younger ones, one each per pot for brekkie salad. Tier 1: CR Leaves are deep green in colour, a slight contrast to the usual romaine that we have for salad from the markets. All looking healthy though. Another observation, the leaves are open. Tier 2: GR Observed some minor tip burns, but not too many to be of concern for aesthetics. Tier 3: RO The leaves are losing the reddishness. The pace of growth is slower than both the CR and GR. To take note of this when planning for sustainable supplies. Internet sources suggest that maturity is between 45 to 60 days. Tier 4: BH Growing well too. No burn tips. Judging from plant size (diameter and height), growth rate seems to be just a little slower compared to GR and CR. Data EC1200 - Nice!
